How to use Turmeric powder for skin lightening and glowing.

Turmeric is a bright yellow-orange spice gotten from the rhizome of a plant of the ginger family (zingibraceae). It's botanical name is curcuma longa. Turmeric has a slight pungent taste like ginger, only when used freshly in a large quantity but milder than ginger. Another variety of turmeric is the white turmeric botanically called curcuma aromatica. It tastes like mango, it is not as sharp as the yellow-orange one but has a slightly bitter taste. Curry got its distinct yellow colour from turmeric. Turmeric can sometimes be used as a substitute for saffron.
Curcumin, a phytonutrient found in turmeric has been proven to be a powerful anti-oxidant that can support the heart and joint health. Turmeric is the leading ingredient in organic skin care. Hardly is there an African herbal soap ingredient with no turmeric powder.
Turmeric widely grows in India and Northern and South-West Nigeria. Turmeric has a very few side effects and are safe to use. Generally, tutmeric is very safe on skin, when used in moderation.

But unfortunately, oversecretion of oil by the sebaceous glands tend to create more problems. Some people even think that facial oil is reduced when you do not apply anything on your face. If your face is left too dry, you are only sending signal to your sebaceous gland to give more oil. Try this simple face mask and have a beautiful skin.
